Not many racers can handle 500cc factory bikes but the four riders leading this moto sure could. Ron Lechien, Rick Johnson, Jeff Stanton and Jeff Ward all made it look easy. Plenty of handguards, chest protectors and other armor were needed that day as plenty of rocks were surfacing.
